Registration:
Registration Fee is due at the time of enrollment. The fee is $35 per student and it is non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-transferable.
Payment Options:
- Monthly Tuition: Payments are automatically charged on the first of each month via credit card.
- Lesson Packages and Individual Lessons: Packages or single lessons may be purchased online using a credit card.
Student Absences:
- Notification Requirement: To be eligible for a makeup lesson, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice to the business office by emailing grlakesmusic@gmail.com or texting 440-833-0206.
- Rescheduling: If proper notice is given, the missed lesson may be rescheduled by requesting a direct makeup lesson link via email grlakesmusic@gmail.com or text 440-833-0206. GLSM will provide this link and scheduling by the client is based upon teacher availability. Each teacher has specific days set aside for these lessons.
- Registration Status: Students must be currently registered at GLSM at the time of the makeup lesson. If a student is no longer registered, the makeup lesson will be canceled.
- Limits: There is a maximum of one makeup lesson permitted per offered makeup date.
Teacher Absences:
GLSM will reschedule lessons at a convenient time for the student in the event that a teacher is absent.
Inclement Weather:
When the building needs to be closed due to inclement weather, GLSM staff will make every attempt to notify you by email or text. GLSM does not follow the public schools' opening and closing schedule. Private lessons missed due to weather closures will be rescheduled based on the earliest teacher availability.
Injuries:
Students, parents, family and legal guardians of minor students waive the right to any legal action for any injury sustained on the premises at any GLSM locations, resulting from normal lesson activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during or after lesson time.
Discontinuing Lessons:
To discontinue recurring private lessons and autopay tuition, a Withdrawal Form must be completed, signed, and dated by the 15th of the last month of lessons. Credits and refunds are not issued for missed lessons. If the Withdrawal Form is received after the 15th of the month, a $15 processing fee will apply. Late Fees:
Monthly tuition via autopay which is not paid by the 6th of the month will incur a late fee of $15 per transaction.
Recurring Subscription Payments:
Lesson packages purchased as a subscription will automatically charge the card on file on a recurring basis until cancelled. Cancelling a subscription through your account does not entitle you to a refund for any previous charges already processed, and does not replace the requirement to submit a Withdrawal Form to formally discontinue lessons.
Cancellations & Rescheduling:
A minimum of 24 hours' notice by email or text is required to reschedule or cancel a lesson. Missed lessons without proper notice are not eligible for makeup or refund.
Credits / Refunds:
Credits or refunds are not issued for any missed private lessons, whether purchased individually or as part of a subscription.
Photo Release:
GLSM is granted permission to take photographs or videos of students for use in brochures, websites, posters, advertisements, DVDs, and other promotional materials. Permission is also granted to copyright these photographs under the school's name.
Waiting Area:
Children must be supervised in the designated GLSM waiting area. Parents, guardians, friends, and family are asked to remain in this areas to avoid distracting students and teachers during private lessons. Teachers will occasionally invite a parent into the teaching studio if needed.

All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers. Do we disclose any information to outside parties? We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.
